In the Event of a School Closing, Pierz School District #484, will run an E-Learning Day for teachers and students.
● No more than five days total per school year. ● If there is a 2-hour late start that turns into a snow day, parents will be notified by 6:20 if we are changing to an E- Learning day. ● The district will identify E-Learning days through announcements. ● If the postponement is determined after 6:20 AM the morning of, no E-Learning Day will be allowed due to statute and a student contact day may be added to the school year if state revenue is being impacted by the missed student time. ● If, after, five E-Learning Days are implemented, the School Board may determine to add additional student days if state revenue is being impacted by the missed student time.
Note: Students in grades 5-12 will have their E-Learnning assignments posted to their Google Classrooms by 9am of the E-Learning Day. More information on the downloadable document below.
