English Language Classes
Adults wishing to develop their English language fluency will find a community of learners working toward the same goal in this weekly class. Many topics will be explored, from banking to health care! Students can expect an opportunity to practice English through listening, speaking, reading, and writing, including an integrated vocabulary component to help learners build on their current English Vocabulary.
GED (General Equivalency Diploma)
Adults wishing to prepare for taking the Minnesota GED test can expect to find these classes an effective and helpful way to GET READY for taking the Minnesota GED test (complete battery is over seven hours of testing and includes these tests: Reasoning through Language Arts; Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies.) Digital literacy and employability skills are embedded into the programming to serve the client's full-scale needs.
Bridge Classes (for adult students enrolled in college classes)
Coursework helps college students enhance their skills across the disciplines: math, English, study skills, digital literacy, and more. Lessons focus on developing problem-solving and communication skills necessary to be college ready. It is highly individualized, and students will receive a comprehensive pre- and post-evaluation.

Currently, classes are held at the middle school in Little Falls on Tuesdays. Because Pierz is not a site for in-house classes, there may be other options that can work for the individual such as hybrid classes that include distance learning (home internet is required for this option.)
