Senior Spotlight 2023-24! Here is where we will be recognizing our incredible seniors!

    • Why Band?

      Music is always around us. You hear it on the radio, at games, in restaurants, at concerts, and so many more places! Well, all of this music you hear had to start somewhere. Almost every one of these musicians started in band, choir, or orchestra. They learned how to play with a group, how to read music, and fell in love with it! Pierz offers a variety of music ensembles for students to learn and develop this love for music. In the instrumental music department, we offer the following ensembles:
      • Symphonic Band
      • Concert Band
      • 8th Grade Band
      • 7th Grade Band
      • 6th Grade Band
      • 5th Grade Band
      • Pep Band
      • Pit Band
      • Jazz I Ensemble
      • Jazz II Ensemble
      • Jazz Combo

      These ensembles offer a place for our students to learn how to play with different ensembles and grow as musicians! We encourage everyone to try playing an instrument, as the number one thing music teachers hear is, "I wish I wouldn't have stopped playing. Now I want to play again!" Take the time to learn an instrument and be a part of the band!
